Information we collect
From visitors to this website. If you contact us, we collect what you choose to share, typically your name, phone number or email, and your message. Browsing this site does not require an account, and we do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
From our employees and contracted staff. To operate a respiratory-care staffing practice, our password-protected scheduling platform holds work-related information: contact details, work schedules and shift history, stated availability, time-off requests, credentials and employment status, and message logs related to scheduling. Access is limited to the employee and authorized administrators.
From PulmonaryLink users and facility contacts. PulmonaryLink is our password-protected operations platform for a telehealth pulmonology program in skilled nursing facilities. It holds work-related information about the people who use it and the facility staff we work with: names, roles, work contact details, notification choices, text-message consent records and message logs. Patient information handled in PulmonaryLink is governed by our agreements with participating facilities and by HIPAA, and is never included in text messages.
How we use information
We use visitor contact information solely to respond to your inquiry. We use employee information solely to schedule, notify, and manage our workforce: posting schedules, offering open shifts, processing time-off requests, and sending the notifications each employee has chosen. We use PulmonaryLink information solely to run the PulmonaryLink program: scheduling sessions, assigning work, and sending the notifications each person has chosen or agreed to. We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
Text messaging (SMS)
Employees who expressly opt in receive work-scheduling text messages from +1 (877) 386-8923. PulmonaryLink users and facility contacts who expressly opt in receive PulmonaryLink work text messages from our PulmonaryLink number. Both programs are described in our SMS / Text Message Policy. Consent is collected separately from any other terms, is not a condition of employment or of working with PulmonaryLink, and can be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP or by changing the text settings in the person's profile.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf, who may use that information only to deliver those messages.
When we share information
We share personal information only: with service providers that operate our systems (website and cloud hosting, data storage, email delivery, and SMS delivery), and only as needed to provide those services; for PulmonaryLink, with the participating facilities and pulmonary groups involved in a session, limited to the work details needed to run it; when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process; to protect the rights, safety, or property of our staff, the facilities we serve, or others; or at your direction.
Retention
Website inquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond. Employee records are retained for the duration of employment or engagement, plus any retention period required by applicable law. PulmonaryLink records, including consent records and message logs, are retained as long as the program and applicable law require.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts with role-based access, two-step verification on PulmonaryLink, audit logging, and encrypted storage for sensitive values. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.
Your choices and rights
You may contact us at (877) 386-8923 to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion where the law allows. Employees can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message or switching their alert preference to email or none; neither affects employment. PulmonaryLink users and facility contacts can reply STOP to any PulmonaryLink text, and PulmonaryLink users can also turn texts off under Notifications.
Children
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means the updated policy applies.
