New Jersey Respiratory, Inc. runs two text message programs, each with its own number, audience and opt-in: employee scheduling texts and PulmonaryLink texts. We never send marketing texts and never message the general public, patients or families.
PROGRAM 1: EMPLOYEE SCHEDULING TEXTS
New Jersey Respiratory, Inc. sends employee-only, work-scheduling text messages from +1 (877) 386-8923 to our own employees and contracted staff who have expressly opted in.
Message types: work schedule posted or changed · open-shift offers you can accept or decline · monthly availability checks · time-off and swap confirmations · sign-in links you request
Message frequency: varies with scheduling activity, typically 2 to 10 messages per month.
Msg & data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help · Reply STOP to cancel at any time. STOP is honored automatically and immediately.
Consent is not a condition of employment, and SMS consent is collected separately from any privacy policy or terms acceptance.
Sample messages
"NJ Respiratory: your September schedule is posted — sign in to view it. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."
"NJ Respiratory: can you cover a Day shift on Tue 9/15 at Adira? Reply YES or NO."
"NJ Respiratory: what days can you work in October? Reply naturally or tap your review link."
How employees opt in
1. The employee signs in to their password-protected staff profile on our scheduling platform and opens My profile & alerts. They enter their own mobile number and choose Text message or Text + email under "How I get alerts."
2. The text alert program is explained right there, before anything saves: program name, sender, message types, frequency, "Msg & data rates may apply," and HELP/STOP. The employee must check a standalone SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is only about text messages; it is separate from every other setting, policy, and term. Without the checkbox, text alerts cannot be turned on.
3. Only after checking the box and saving is consent recorded (with a date-and-time stamp on the employee's record) and texting enabled. The profile then shows the consent on file. New hires may instead give written consent during onboarding, which a manager records the same way.

☐ I agree to receive recurring work-scheduling text messages from New Jersey Respiratory, Inc. at the mobile number above — schedule postings and changes, open-shift offers, availability checks, time-off updates, and sign-in links I request. Message frequency varies (typically 2–10 msgs/month). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel at any time. Consent is not a condition of employment.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message (texting stops immediately and automatically), or switch "How I get alerts" to Email or None in the profile. Reply START to rejoin.
PROGRAM 2: PULMONARYLINK TEXTS
PulmonaryLink is our telehealth pulmonology program for skilled nursing facilities. PulmonaryLink texts come from our dedicated PulmonaryLink toll-free number, +1 (866) 384-6339. They go only to people who have expressly opted in: our staff and independent sales representatives, the physicians and staff of partner pulmonary groups, and staff contacts at participating facilities.
Message types: telehealth session schedules and changes · work assigned to you in PulmonaryLink · follow-up notices that ask you to call or sign in
Texts never include patient names or other patient information. Please don't reply with patient information by text.
Message frequency: varies with session activity, typically 2 to 20 messages per month.
Msg & data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help · Reply STOP to cancel at any time. STOP is honored automatically and immediately.
Consent is not a condition of employment, of any contract, or of working with PulmonaryLink.
Sample messages
"PulmonaryLink: session at Harborview Rehab with Dr. Priya Provider, Tue 9/29 10:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out."
"PulmonaryLink: the session at Maple Crest on Wed 9/30 was cancelled. Reply STOP to opt out."
"PulmonaryLink (New Jersey Respiratory): you're signed up for texts about PulmonaryLink sessions and follow-ups at your facility. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out."
How PulmonaryLink users opt in (staff, sales representatives, providers and group staff)
1. The user signs in to their password-protected PulmonaryLink account and opens Notifications.
2. They enter their own mobile number. The text program is explained right there, before anything saves, and the user must tick a standalone SMS consent checkbox. It is separate from every other setting, policy and term. Without it, texts cannot be turned on.
3. Consent is recorded with a date and time when the user saves. The user chooses which notices come by text.
